Lost’s goodbye has expanded yet again, this time by 30 minutes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The drama’s series finale will now run two-and-a-half hours. The episode, scheduled to air Sunday, May 23 at 9/8c, will push the local news back a half-hour, followed by the previously announced post-finale special, Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost, at 12:05 a.m.
Lost producers finish finale: “We’re done. Amen.”
This adds to the two-hour retrospective scheduled to air immediately before the series finale, at 7/6c, and ABC’s planned rebroadcast of the 2004 pilot on Saturday, May 22.
News of the extra time comes one day after Lost executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof both tweeted that they had completed editing the final episode.

The star of The Bachelorette’s new season will be revealed Monday during the After the Final Rose special, which follows The Bachelor season finale at 8/7c on ABC.

The new Bachelorette will then appear on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, joined by one of the new cast members of Dancing with the Stars. The lineup for the dance competition’s tenth season will also be announced Monday, during The Bachelor season finale.
