It was already a he said, she said battle for the ages, but find a hat, then hold the f*%k onto it, ’cause Vienna Girardi is really taking it to Jake Pavelka now.

In a new clip from Monday’s episode of The Bachelorette, which will feature a joint interview with the formerly engaged close, she drops this bomb on him:

“You are the biggest fake liar I’ve ever met in my entire life.”

BAM. Talk about getting owned. But Jake, not to sit there and be humiliated, snaps back, “Who’s the guy you had on Saturday night at the apartment?”

That would be Greek star Gregory Michael, whose name is bleeped out in the clip, and whose affair with Vienna was supposedly the last straw for Jake.

On Good Morning America Friday, host-pimp Chris Harrison admits their first face-to-face encounter since their split was “definitely contentious.”

In the first clip released yesterday, Girardi, a former Hooters waitress, defends herself for selling details about their love life to a tabloid, claiming she had to.

“Jake felt really betrayed that she sold these very intimate stories,” Harrison adds. “That’s where it got heated. Jake really takes offense that he was sold out.”

Among those stories he was so upset: That while we’ve all seen Vienna Girardi nude or close to it, Jake had no interest in hitting that for months on end!

Friday, for reasons unknown, ABC aired an hour-long special, Miley Cyrus: Live From London, depicting her concert at the city’s storied O2 Arena.

It was a welcome respite from the scandals and controversies.

Miles surely thrilled her fans during the prime time extravaganza, in which she finally, finally got back to doing what made her famous: singing.

Kate Gosselin’s new TLC show, the revamped Kate Plus 8, premiered last night on TLC. As the title and scads of news reports indicate, Jon Gosselin is MIA.

For Kate, this is a good thing. For the rest of us? Debatable. No one disputes that Jon has serious d-bag qualities, but was that part of the show’s appeal?

Put another way, was the palpable marital conflict of Jon and Kate Plus 8 as big a reason to tune in as the eight, titular little cuties? In a way, we say yes.

Sure, the show was cute before things went off the rails. But admit it, you wanna see Jon’s girlfriend Ellen Ross meet the kids, Kate verbally castrate him, etc.

Last night, Kate Plus 8 contained some interesting revelations from Kate and the requisite kid-related humor. But there was a certain suspense missing.

KATE PLUS 8 MINUS 1 D-BAG: Just not the same.

Kate taking her big brood to Discovery Cove in Orlando, Fla., for the sextuplets’ sixth birthdays was sweet. It just seemed too … normal and non-dysfunctional.

We’ll see how long the network can ride Kate (via the new Kate Plus 8 and Twist of Kate) in a drama-free format. Some of the highlights from last night:

• Kate calling swimming with dolphins a rite of passage, when the vast majority of parents could never afford or have a TV network arrange such a thing.
• Bodyguard and alleged lover Steve Neild speaking out for the first time. He seems to be actively involved as her manager/protector, on platonic terms.
• Kate revealing what has always been her biggest fear in this world: not being on TV or in the spotlight anymore having a judge take away her kids.

He’s as free as a bird now, and this bird you cannot change.

Truer words have never been spoken, and early this morning, a departing Conan O’Brien spent the last few minutes of his Tonight Show tenure jamming with none other than Will Ferrell on the classic Lynyrd Skynyrd farewell ballad.

Conan’s final episode was, in many ways, a somber one. He showed a picture of his staff and expounded on what hosting The Tonight Show meant to him.

“Every comedian dreams of hosting the Tonight Show and, for seven months, I got to. I did it my way, with people I love, and I do not regret it,” he said.

Refraining from any well-deserved NBC bashing (probably because of his contract buyout), he thanked the network for making his entire career possible.

He did needle NBC for building a $50 million studio for him just a year ago, suggesting alternate uses for it going forward: Site of Tiger Woods’ mistresses 1st annual reunion, water park for Max Weinberg’s illegitimate children, etc.

Oddly enough, after the Hope for Haiti Now benefit Friday, NBC chose to air Dateline at 10 p.m., rather than the Jay Leno Show, meaning the final night of Conan O’Brien’s career at NBC was the only one in which he didn’t have to follow Jay.

As for his next move?

“As I set off for exciting new career opportunities, I just want to make one thing clear to everyone listening out there: I will do nudity,” Conan boasted.
