We’re very sorry to report this, Twihards, but Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are “at war” with each other.

The reason? Rob’s alleged inappropriate behavior with co-star Anna Kendrick, which was caught on camera and over which Kristen confronted her man - on the red carpet of the Eclipse premiere!

Somehow - despite the presence of nearly every magazine, newspaper and cameraman in the country at the event - the only publication to notice this “breakdown” was random Australian rag Famous. But, hey, it must be true.

Just like Jessica Simpson’s confirmed pregnancy, tabloids don’t just make up cover stories out of thin air, do they?

Pattinson and Stewart looked quite happy and cozy when they surprised Eclipse fans in Los Angeles Monday night. Could that all have been an act?!?

If you listen to tabloid rumors, Robert Pattinson has either dumped Kristen Stewart or is about to be dumped by Kristen Stewart.

But if you listed to this Twilight Saga star himself, well, you won’t hear anything at all about his real-life relationship. Still, Parade was able to get Robert to open up about kissing Kristen - in Eclipse, at least.

Check out the following excerpts from Pattinson’s recent interview with that publication:

On Edward/Bella lip locks: “Kissing felt a little bit more natural in Eclipse, even if there was plenty of it. In New Moon and Twilight it was always like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna kill you if I kiss you’ or something. It was always kind of odd. But, in this one, they both understand their situation a lot more, which makes it easier. It’s the first time Kristen and I have been able to just act like a normal couple.”

On Edward wanting to wait: “Nowadays, everyone just goes around screwing everyone for no reason. Edward doesn’t really want to sort of cheapen his relationship with Bella, even though she’s pushing him to go all the way. He’s got this certain idea of how it should go with the love of his life. He wants to do it right and not just follow his base instincts. I guess I’m a bit old fashioned in that way as well.”

So… are he and Kristen dating? “I guess people like stories, that’s my basic conclusion. They just want everything in our lives to be like Twilight. The truth is… that I wish I had a few more hours of sleep today so I could think of a better answer.”

On dealing with Twihards: “I kind of made the transition in my head of not being freaked out by it… when it happens so often to you, you kind of actually look at people’s faces and see that they’re enjoying themselves, and it makes everything so much easier to accept. Everything becomes a lot easier.”

Welcome to tabloid journalism 101, readers. Pay close attention to this lesson…

Earlier this week, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson taped an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show that will air tomorrow afternoon.

As reported by THG, the pair met with the host beforehand and were warned that she’d ask about the status of their relationship. At this point, Rob and Kristen admitted they were dating - but said they didn’t wish to discuss it on-air.

Oprah said fine, they could shoot down the question however they wanted to when it came up.

So, when the cameras rolled and the inevitable was asked, Pattinson joked that Stewart was pregnant. That’s it. End of story. Oprah viewers will see these 10 seconds play out tomorrow, as part of an in-depth interview that reveals actual information.

Stop us if you’ve heard this before:

A popular Twilight Saga star has posed for a magazine with a cigarette prominently on display. He/she looks happy to be smoking it, causing a growing controversy over one’s freedom of personal choice versus one’s responsibility to a large, young fan base.

No, we’re not referring to Robert Pattinson. That actor was photographed puffing away in January, during a shoot with Wonderland magazine. In a poll of THG readers, 41% thought Rob was setting a bad example.

But this time we’re talking about Pattinson’s likely girlfriend, Kristen Stewart. She’s the cover girl for the April issue of Flaunt and is surrounded by smoke in the photo from it below:

Once again, sides will be drawn on this topic. Smoking is perfectly legal and who is anyone to tell Kristen what to do with her lungs?

But isn’t she also a role model for millions of teenagers, whether she wants to be or not? If she was caught with a sex tape, would we argue that it was a legal act and she was free to use her vagina as she sees fit?

We’ve seen supermarket tabloids claim Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were an item.

We’ve heard from Twilight Saga co-stars that have hinted there’s a romance between this pair.

Earlier this week, Robert himself said he and Kristen were “together.” But this is a first:

A British politician has ratted out the pair! Council member Nicolas Clark was in London pub Tuesday when he spotted Pattinson and Stewart getting cozy together. Then, the guy actually Tweeted about it:

“In The Marquis of Granby with Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart,” he wrote, later adding: “From what I saw just a couple of kisses on lips. R+K were acting like a couple.”

Is this really what we’ve come to? Politicians are using Twitter to publicize private moments between movie stars?!?

We’re not sure how parliamentary procedure works, but can the citizens of England impeach this moron?
