Lindsay Lohan’s Christmas wish came true. Dawn Holland, a former Betty Ford staffer who accused Lohan of battery, has dropped the charges.

The publication pulled out all the stops to put the troubled actress on its August / September cover, coinciding with her sentencing for DUI probation violations.
So amazing that the week her mug shot is making headlines, these images begin circulating … even though they’ve been on the cutting room floor for months.
The publication’s photo shoot with Linds took place in May, but there is no interview. Rather, they promise a piece on what it’s like to be Lindsay in 2010. Oooh.
Like we don’t already know that. Girl goes clubbing until 7 a.m., flakes on various acting and modeling gigs, and does the occasional jail stint. Wasted potential.

Lindsay Lohan has hired attorney Robert Shapiro, a member of O.J. Simpson’s “dream team,” to represent her as she prepares for a jail sentence for violating a 2007 drug charge, according to The Associated Press.

Shapiro told the AP that he agreed to represent Lohan on the condition that she serves her jail time and fully complies with the terms of her probation. Lohan is scheduled to begin serving a 90-day sentence on Tuesday.

Lindsay Lohan recently posed for the German issue of GQ, and we have to admit, looks more or less attractive and even coherent in the first pics released.
The weird thing? There’s no signs of her court-ordered ankle monitor - and we know she had it on because it was visible in the behind-the-scenes photos.
Not that it matters, of course, and it’s hard to blame GQ for not wanting to distract its readers from an otherwise enticing set of Lindsay Lohan pictures.
But it makes you wonder. How much airbrushing goes on, even when there is no SCRAM device involved? Take a look at Lindsay in Germany’s GQ below:

As we reported yesterday, Lindsay is reportedly in rehab ahead of her July 20 sentencing for violating her probation. Hopefully she’s allowed to stay there.
She faces a 90-day jail term, but by proactively checking herself into a sober living house, which she should have done months ago, she took a big step.
We just hope the judge sees it that way and Lindsay can get well.
John Stamos will guest star on Glee this fall.
But there’s nothing gleeful about his current situation: the actor took to the stand yesterday to defend himself against Allison Coss, the young woman arrested in December for trying to extort $680,000 from Stamos in exchange for not releasing allegedly compromising photos of him.
Testifying in U.S. District Court, Stamos denied all accusations that he used cocaine and/or accompanied an underage Coss in a hot tub. He admitted the following under oath:
Coss and boyfriend Scott Sippola are charged with conspiracy and two counts of extortion against the actor. If convicted on all charges, they could face up to nine years in prison. No photos of the star have turned up in any investigation of the pair’s home.
Near the end of his testimony, Coss’ lawyer randomly asked Stamos if he was a friend of Charlie Sheen. He replied: “No, but I know Lindsay Lohan.”
