Ali Fedotowsky: Confident in Her Decision

July 18th, 2010

According to Us Weekly, The Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky ends up engaged on the show’s August 2 finale, and is now planning an early 2011 wedding.

According to The Bachelorette spoilers we’ve read? Not the case.

There are conflicting reports, clearly, regarding what the blonde cutie will do when the field stands at just two and that final rose is ready to be doled out.

Some, including the aforementioned tabloid, cite anonymous sources and vague quotes to “prove” she’s engaged. Other sources claim she’s quite single.

What does Ali herself have to say about it right now? “I’m just confident in the decisions I made,” Fedotowsky told ET Thursday at an event in Hollywood.

Hmm …

A Cute Bachelorette

On this past Monday’s episode, she booted Kirk DeWindt and narrowed her choices to this trio: Roberto Martinez, Chris Lambton, and Frank Neuschaefer.

As for which two make it to the season finale?

“Both guys have so much integrity,” Ali Fedotowsky said. “They are stand-up, honorable and have a lot of respect for others. I just think they are men.”

In other words, Frank is toast. Two-timing jerk.

She added, “They’re the type of guys that any mother or father dream that their daughter would find. I think that’s what makes them really great guys!”

Wow, spoiler alert! A little warning next time?

The reality star is looking forward to the finale being over. “I’m sort of in limbo right now…. I’m really looking forward to everything sort of wrapping up!”

Who should Ali choose on The Bachelorette?

Crystal Bowersox Signs Record Deal

June 23rd, 2010

Here’s to hoping Crystal Bowersox has the same success as last year’s American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert.

Earlier this week, the unique, talented singer signed her first professional deal with 19 Recordings/Jive Records. Look for her to release a blues/folk/rock album later this year.

“I’m really grateful to be given this opportunity to make an album and let people hear my music, and I’m looking forward to working with all of the folks at 19/Jive,” said Bowersox, who lost to Lee DeWyze on the season nine finale.

Fans can see Crystal, Lee and company in concert this summer, as the American Idol tour kicks off its 49-date run July 1 in Detroit.

Molly Malaney, Jason Mesnick Upset Over Bachelor Wedding Manipulation By Network

February 4th, 2010

Looks like Vienna Girardi and Jake Pavelka don’t have a monopoly on The Bachelor drama. Molly Malaney and Jason Mesnick are dealing with their share.

Last season’s Bachelor stars are getting married on TV next month. With that comes plenty of drama. And possibly DeAnna Pappas. And Melissa Rycroft.

Molly and Jason got engaged last fall, and agreed to tie the knot on TV in a two-hour wedding special airing March 8, presumably for millions of dollars.

But will it be worth it? The couple is already fighting over the guest list, according to a friend, as ABC wants to turn the wedding into a Bachelor reunion.

Producers want Melissa Rycroft - Jason’s #1 choice, who he dumped for Molly after the season - and former Bachelorette star DeAnna Pappas to be there.

Jason and Molly of The Bachelor

Molly Malaney reportedly isn’t happy about ABC’s wedding meddling.

“ABC is basically controlling the guest list, and they’re inviting former [Bachelor stars] Molly and Jason don’t even know,” the insider says. “Molly is fine with that.”

“However, she’s not especially thrilled about Melissa attending her wedding, because she thinks it will turn into a circus.” Which is probably what Mike Fleiss wants.

In any case, DeAnna Pappas, who negged Jason on The Bachelorette season finale, tells In Touch that she’s looking forward to the magical, staged event.

“I’ll be there with my boyfriend, Stephen,” she says, declining to give us a last name. “I’m so happy that Jason found Molly, as they really are the perfect couple.”

We agree. We’re sure Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney will get through these pre-wedding jitters. With Chris Harrison officiating, how can they go wrong?
