Dancing With the Stars smoked the ratings competition Monday night, averaging 22.3 million viewers in its second week.
While the two-hour show tripped slightly in the advertiser-coveted 18-to-49-year-olds (down 4 percent to a 5.1 rating), its total audience was about the same as last week’s 12th-season opener (though that was down from the 24.2 million who tuned in for last spring’s debut).
