The Lo-Down: Lauren Bosworth Dishes on Fashion, Fitness and More

Ever wonder how The Hills stars always look so pulled together, even after their long days of being professional celebrities and long nights at the clubs?
A team of stylists.
And on-the-job training, says Lauren (Lo) Bosworth: “From the very beginning, we always did [our hair and makeup] ourselves. Every girl is now a pro.”
The 23-year-old Smashbox Cosmetics employee adds that “We could probably start our own business [as makeup artists] and be very successful. A lot of that comes from working with professionals for red carpet events and photo shoots.”
LO AND BEHOLD: Bosworth always looks stellar.
So, with filming for the sixth and final season of The Hills wrapped, how has Bosworth been spending her time? In addition to writing The Lo-Down, her relationship guide book due out in January, Bosworth has been sweating it out … literally.
Lo recently became the face of Nivea’s Goodbye Cellulite, Hello Bikini Challenge, a four-week program of fitness, healthy eating, skincare and style.
“As far as fitness, I love indoor cycling. It has made a really big difference. I feel a lot skinnier than I did last year,” she says of taking spin classes.
“It’s kind of the ultimate cardio.” The instructor-led group setting is a major motivating factor for the star. “Because if I’m by myself, I go to the gym and do 15 reps,” she jokes. “And then I’m like, ‘Oh, my e-mail. I need to make a phone call.’”
Robert Pattinson Dishes on Eclipse Make Out Scenes, Twihards

If you listen to tabloid rumors, Robert Pattinson has either dumped Kristen Stewart or is about to be dumped by Kristen Stewart.
But if you listed to this Twilight Saga star himself, well, you won’t hear anything at all about his real-life relationship. Still, Parade was able to get Robert to open up about kissing Kristen - in Eclipse, at least.
Check out the following excerpts from Pattinson’s recent interview with that publication:
On Edward/Bella lip locks: “Kissing felt a little bit more natural in Eclipse, even if there was plenty of it. In New Moon and Twilight it was always like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna kill you if I kiss you’ or something. It was always kind of odd. But, in this one, they both understand their situation a lot more, which makes it easier. It’s the first time Kristen and I have been able to just act like a normal couple.”
On Edward wanting to wait: “Nowadays, everyone just goes around screwing everyone for no reason. Edward doesn’t really want to sort of cheapen his relationship with Bella, even though she’s pushing him to go all the way. He’s got this certain idea of how it should go with the love of his life. He wants to do it right and not just follow his base instincts. I guess I’m a bit old fashioned in that way as well.”
So… are he and Kristen dating? “I guess people like stories, that’s my basic conclusion. They just want everything in our lives to be like Twilight. The truth is… that I wish I had a few more hours of sleep today so I could think of a better answer.”
On dealing with Twihards: “I kind of made the transition in my head of not being freaked out by it… when it happens so often to you, you kind of actually look at people’s faces and see that they’re enjoying themselves, and it makes everything so much easier to accept. Everything becomes a lot easier.”

Betty White Speaks on Rue McClanahan Death

With the death of Rue McClanahan earlier today, Betty White is now the last of the Golden Girls. Losing her co-star this morning hit the octogenarian hard.
“Rue was a close and dear friend. I treasure our relationship,” White said in a statement today. “It hurts more than I ever thought it would, if that’s even possible.”
Rue McClanahan passed away at age 76 after suffering a stroke, following the deaths of costars Bea Arthur last year at age 86 and Estelle Getty in 2008 at age 84.
Betty White, who has experienced an unexpected but wonderful career comeback of sorts lately at 88, was the eldest of the long-running NBC comedy’s quartet.

Golden Girls producer and writer Marc Cherry, known to younger generations for creating Desperate Housewives, also expressed grief over McClanahan passing:
“My favorite character to write for was Blanche Devereaux. In the hands of lesser actresses Blanche’s vanity and sexual appetite would have been off-putting.”
“But in Rue’s brilliant hands, that character became one of the most beloved in the history of TV. Rue’s kindness, generosity and talent will be sorely missed.”
Father of Joe Jonas to Demi Lovato: It’s Over!

It seems like only last week Demi Lovato was gushing about Joe Jonas and even thanking fans for her relationship with the singer.
Oh, wait… it was!
Now, just days later, “impeccable sources” allegedly tell Perez Hilton that Jonas has ended it with Lovato - in an astoundingly, hilariously immature way.
“Joe had his dad call Demi to break things off,” an insider claims.
We’re working to verify the rumor of this break-up and the way in which it was supposedly handled. But we can say this: Perez Hilton may be a self-serving, talentless moron who draws penises on photos because he finds that funny, but he does typically come through with reliable information.
Fortunately, pals of Demi say the recent Grey’s Anatomy guest star “had a good cry” but is doing okay: “Demi is single and already exploring her options.”
Hear that, Nick Jonas? Make the call!
Demi and Joe are still expected to go on tour together this summer. That could be more awkward than a meeting between LeBron James and Delonte West.
** UPDATE: The split has been confirmed, although no word yet on whether Mr. Jonas delivered the bad news or not.
Kristen Stewart: Not Even a Tiny Bit Pregnant

Earlier this week, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson taped an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show that will air tomorrow afternoon.
As reported by THG, the pair met with the host beforehand and were warned that she’d ask about the status of their relationship. At this point, Rob and Kristen admitted they were dating - but said they didn’t wish to discuss it on-air.
Oprah said fine, they could shoot down the question however they wanted to when it came up.
So, when the cameras rolled and the inevitable was asked, Pattinson joked that Stewart was pregnant. That’s it. End of story. Oprah viewers will see these 10 seconds play out tomorrow, as part of an in-depth interview that reveals actual information.

NCIS: Will Abby’s Trip to Mexico Unearth Gibbs’ Secrets?

On Tuesday’s NCIS (8/7c on CBS), Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) takes a rare trip outside her lab, and her visit to Mexico could mean trouble for Gibbs (Mark Harmon).

Abby is invited to speak at a symposium in Mexico about cold-case forensics, using real evidence from old cases. “Abby is in Mexico simply to teach, but she does make some cold-case discoveries while she’s there,” Perrette tells TVGuide.com. “She makes a few discoveries, actually, that come back around to other parts of our NCIS story lines that have been building for years.”
In particular, Abby finds a bullet she believes she can trace, which makes Gibbs, who murdered a Mexican drug dealer responsible for the death of his wife and daughter, more than a little nervous. The discovery will greatly impact Gibbs and Abby’s relationship well into next season.
“We’re really getting into their relationship, and it’s heavy,” Perrette says. “There’s a lot of stuff going on. We’re going to new territory and putting a microscope on the intensity of their relationship”
