Jesse James Alleges Death Threat From Ex-Wife

The chilling Mel Gibson tape, in which he berates ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, is apparently not the only celebrity death threat alleged this afternoon.
Jesse James’ ex-wife, Janine Lindemulder, threatened to kill him in the past, according to what his lawyer just told the judge in their nasty custody battle.
Fighting for custody of daughter Sunny, James personally has been testifying on the stand this morning, but hasn’t mentioned the allegation … so far.
The motorcycle guru bought a house in Austin, Texas, and wants to take Sunny there so she can be closer to his most recent ex-wife, Sandra Bullock.
Ex-wife #2 is far from pleased about that proposed plan.
At least Jesse James and Sandra Bullock split amicably and quietly. He and his ex-wife are at each other’s throats in court, and it’s getting uglier every day.
Over nearly five years of marriage, Bullock developed a close relationship with Sunny and his two older kids before his cheating led to their divorce.
Lindemulder, who just got out of a halfway house and can’t leave the state of California, filed documents trying to stop the planned move by James.
Janine says the Sandra Bullock excuse doesn’t hold water because if she really cared about Jesse’s children … she would have stayed in California.
We’ll see what a judge has to say about that, but we know James has alleged on many previous occasions that unstable Janine is a threat to Sunny.
A big enough threat to bar her from all contact? Stay tuned.
Vince Young Arrested in Strip Club Fight, Asks God to Please Prevent NFL Suspension

Following a melee at a local strip joint, Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was issued a Class C assault citation in Dallas, Texas, early Sunday morning.
No arrests are planned and the former University of Texas star’s citation, while for a misdemeanor charge, likely will entail a fine that he will pay and that’s it.
The incident is said to have occurred at a Dallas strip club early Sunday morning after a man at the venue insulted, verbally or otherwise, Young’s alma mater.
A Dallas police source said that Vince Young was attempting to exchange cash, possibly for single dollar bills, at Club Onyx when all hell suddenly broke loose.
Apparently, someone made disparaging remarks about the Longhorns, and then flashed an upside-down “Hook ‘em, Horns” hand gesture. A brawl ensued.
Vince Young hopes the Almighty won’t let the NFL suspend him.
Today, the NFL star apologized to his teammates for the whole strip club fight, noting that he’s praying to God that the NFL won’t “come down hard.”
After practice today, Young said, “I just made a mistake, I made a big mistake even being there and I let that guy provoke me into doing what I did.”
“I pray to God that [league Commissioner] Roger Goodell doesn’t come down hard on me, because I definitely want to be here for my teammates.”
Right, because 1. God saw the fight, and 2. Even if He did, He’d be more concerned about Young suiting up this fall than any pleas for forgiveness.

Chace Crawford Arrested For Marijuana Possession

Chace Crawford of Gossip Girl fame was arrested in his home town of Plano, Texas, for possession of marijuana, police say. He was bailed out of jail.
The 24-year-old actor was arrested just after midnight this morning for possession of marijuana under two ounces. The charge is a misdemeanor.
Crawford was busted in the parking lot of Ringo’s Pub. Sources say Chace was in a car with a friend when he was busted and cops found a joint.

TruTV is going undercover and behind the scenes of some of the country’s craziest professions for its newest crop of projects.
Among the cable channel’s new series are Limo Bob, which examines life in Chicago through the eyes of the owner of one of the city’s biggest limo fleets. Ma’s Roadhouse will profile the family behind a one-of-a-kind Texas saloon, which serves as a motorcycle shop, bar and tattoo parlor. Putting a whole new spin on Undercover Boss is America’s Toughest Boss, which will profile a steakhouse owner willing to spy on his employees and put them to extreme tests to get the results he wants.

America’s Toughest Boss won’t be the only TruTV show employing hidden cameras. Exposed!, the latest comedy project from Punk’d producers Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, will catch unsuspecting people’s reactions on camera when others take off their clothes in public. Hidden-camera show Rogue Society showcases individuals going undercover to get revenge on scam artists and crooked businessmen.
TruTV’s other new series include Disclosure, which looks at two people who have dedicated their lives to uncovering government secrets, and The Naked Office, which employs a very revealing form of group therapy to keep employees productive and positive.
In addition to the channel’s new series, TruTV has ordered new seasons of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, Full Throttle Saloon, Black Gold, Las Vegas Jailhouse, and Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Jessica Alba Makes Plans to Adopt

Jessica Alba isn’t the best actress on the planet.
But she appears to be a responsible, tremendous mother to daughter Honor Marie. Meanwhile, another child may soon be included in Alba and husband Cash Warren’s family.
In an interview prior to her appearance on tonight’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (in which she helps rebuild a home for a Texas foster family of 15), the actress said she’ll likely adopt in the near future.
“If you have the love, and the capacity to love children, you should just adopt. And I plan on doing it, ” she said, adding: “My mom grew up around a huge family, and they always wanted more kids, and I was like, ‘Why don’t you just adopt?’”
Looks like Alba will take her own advice. Below, she’s seen playing with Honor…

Boston Legal Actor Justin Mentell Dies at 27

Justin Mentell
Former Boston Legal actor Justin Mentell has died following a car crash in rural Wisconsin, the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department said. He was 27.
Mentell died Monday after driving his Jeep off a steep embankment, striking two trees, according to the accident report. The actor, who was alone and not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene around 8:30 a.m. after a call came in. The accident is believed to have occurred around 3 a.m., Chief Deputy Jon Pepper told the Wisconsin State Journal.

Born in Texas and raised in Illinois, Mentell was a speed skater in his youth, having been a member of the U.S. Speed Skating’s junior national long track team. After making his acting debut in 2004’s Gotham, IL, he portrayed attorney Garrett Wells on Boston Legal from 2005-2006. Mentell most recently starred in last summer’s G-Force.
