American Idol Episode Recap: Hollywood Week Season 10, Episode 8

February 11th, 2011

American Idol | Photo Credits: Michael Becker/Fox

At long last, Hollywood Week has arrived. The judges wound up giving golden tickets to a whopping 327 hopefuls — up from the usual 250-ish. Seacrest says, “There will be little time to relax” for the contestants, who will immediately face a sudden-death round, just as in years’ past. J.Lo says this is where they separate “the men from the boys, the women from the girls.” Randy Jackson says, “These kids gotta bring it.” Steve Tyler hopes they “did their homework.”

The format is exactly the same as it always has been. Groups of 10 contestants will take the stage and sing a song of their choosing a cappella. The judges will deliberate for a short while and make their cuts. No second chances…

Michelle McGee: Men Will Spread Their Seed

May 14th, 2010

The Michelle McGee PR tour continues.

Relentlessly milking her infamous status as Jesse James’ mistress for every cent it’s worth, “Bombshell” is featured in the new issue of Steppin’ Out magazine.

What a cheap hack. Pretty gross, too.

Apparently under the impression people care what she thinks, Michelle McGee before she became a mistress, she believed “if a man cheats it’s horrible.”

But now? “I think men are made to spread their seed. Women need to accept that. You need to know that men are not meant to be with one woman.”

Class act, this one.

Classy BombshellSoCal Glamour Girl

Michelle “Bombshell” McGee attempts to act classy.

“I think you can totally love your spouse and sleep with other women,” says the Nazi with colored friends. “That urge will always be there if you’re a man.”

“I believe you can love your wife 100 percent and still stray.”

The lady also says she feels bad for Sandra Bullock. Sure.

“It should be a happy time in her life,” Michelle says. “She shouldn’t be worried about this. She should be enjoying her time with her baby and celebrating. So I do feel bad about all this. I’d like to sit down and talk to her over lunch.”

Mmm. Don’t know if we’d hold our breath or wait by the phone.

As for Jesse James, she says she doesn’t buy rumors that he had a sex addiction problem, claiming that “It’s just an easy way to explain why you cheated.”

Okay, we’ll give her that. Sorry, Jesse and Tiger Woods.

Merilee Gerth "Shocked" There Were Other Jesse James Mistresses

April 16th, 2010

Poor Merliee Gerth can’t comprehend that Jesse James, who had at least four other mistresses in addition to wife Sandra Bullock, would dare cheat on her.

And you think you know someone …

James’ fifth alleged mistress often found him cheating on her with other women. It always sucks to be the other other other other woman, doesn’t it?

Merilee Geeth would go into his office on the weekend and Jesse would be “fooling around” with another girl. This apparently left Merilee “shocked.”

Note to Merliee Gerth: Imagine how Sandra Bullock feels!

Merliee expressed her frustration with Jesse, saying:

“Jesse doesn’t know anything about me … he is so selfish that even if I wanted to talk to him about my personal life, he wouldn’t be interested.”

Boo hoo, Merliee. Did you forget that YOU are the home-wrecker? At least one of Tiger Woods’ mistresses incomprehensibly said the same thing.

You girls are mad you’re not the only mistress? Really?

You are sleeping with a married man. Why would he be loyal to you in the least? Talk about delusional. At least Michelle “Bombshell” McGee admits she sold out James for money and claims she didn’t know he was married.

Tanya Douglas: Jake Pavelka is a Cheating Liar!

March 5th, 2010

The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka has been engaged to Vienna Girardi for about 20 minutes and he’s already catching heat for it - from ex Tanya Douglas.

Jake’s previous girlfriend claims he was in contact with her after he finished taping the reality show, and claims Jake said he was coming back to her.

Pavelka has denied any overlap between his past relationships and his Bachelor stint, during which he met and ultimately proposed to Vienna Girardi.

Not so, says Tanya, who lobbed vague accusations of cheating at Jake in an interview earlier this week, although she was not identified by name then.

She also claims they discussed marriage and that he said the women on the show, Vienna included, mean absolutely nothing to him. Anyone buying it?

Tanya Douglas Picture

Tanya Douglas looks a little Vienna-like, no?

The identity of Jake’s ex was revealed this afternoon, for whatever it’s worth. For his part, Jake denied Tanya’s claims to Entertainment Tonight this evening.

“The relationship with [Douglas] was prior to The Bachelor, it simply did not work out,” he said. “There was no overlap with that or any other relationship.”

“It is unfortunate that people are trying to financially capitalize on or disparage my incredible relationship with Vienna,” the hunky pilot continued.

“I only wish everyone could be as happy for us as we are together.”

Well? Do you believe Tanya Douglas or Jake Pavelka? And will he and Vienna Girardi, the subject of some shady rumors herself, last?

Olympic Moment: Bode Miller Tops U.S. Alpine Skiers with Fourth Medal Win

February 21st, 2010

Bode Miller

Bode Miller won his fourth career Olympic medal, the most ever for an alpine skier in U.S. history, but failed to take the gold in the men’s Super-G event Friday.

Miller was an early leader at the Winter Olympics event after another impressive run by Olympics rookie Andrew Weibrecht. But both in came behind Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway, who won his first gold medal. Reigning Super-G world champion Didier Cuche (Switzerland) failed to medal after breaking his thumb on Jan. 29.

Svindal also beat Miller in the downhill competition earlier in the week, when Svindal came in second and Miller placed third. Unlike Miller, Svindal was hardly considered a front-runner for the event despite winning the overall Alpine Skiing World Cup in 2009. That victory was one of his first after suffering a severe crash during a practice run in late 2007. “This is where I wanted to be,” Svindal, 27, said of his return to the sport following his recovery. “This is an awesome day.”

Miller, 32, doubted his new record would last long. But he was happy with his performance Friday, which also marked the second birthday of his daughter, Dacey. “I came in here ready to win,” he said after the event. Miller and Weibrect’s medals helped push the U.S. to a medal lead late Friday with a total of 20 medals thus far.

Americans had less luck in the women’s skeleton event, where Noelle Pikus-Pace came in fourth. “I had a blast here and I have gave it my best,” she said after the event. Pikus-Pace’s teammate and two-time world champion Katie Uhlaender placed a disappointing 11th following a knee injury earlier this season. Amy Williams (Great Britain) won the event and Jon Montgomery (Canada) won the men’s skeleton.
